TTY/TDD for hearing impaired: FirstCall automatically detects TTY/TDD devices, converts the speech into a text version of the message, and sends the converted message over a normal phone line to the individuals with TTY/TDD devices. These individuals with TTY/TDD devices and their numbers do not need to be pre-designated by the client. FirstCall offers other solutions for communicating with the hearing impaired which include SMS Text Messaging, Customized Caller ID, Email Messaging, and MMS Messaging.
Electronic Mail: FirstCall has developed its own email notification software. This allows us to customize our protocol for each client if necessary. Our software sends to any email protocol or software. Email is sent at a rate of 20,000 per minute. Multiple email addresses can be collected from each citizen. Once collected, this data is geocoded on the city’s map and also put in a separate fixed list of registered persons.
Customizable Caller ID: FirstCall allows the phone number that appears on Caller ID to be customized on every call out. The text that appears on the Caller ID will appear in the manner that number is listed within the phone company database. Customizing that text can be done by contacting the phone company.
By default each individual record may register two phone numbers, one SMS Text number, and two Email Addresses, these options and quantities can be customized to meet the needs of the client.
FirstCall exports the reports to .csv format which can be imported into almost any software for customization. FirstCall will work with the client to produce specialized custom reporting procedures.
We have never and will never release or trade any of the data within our servers. FirstCall obeys any and all laws regarding Information and Data Security, including but not limited to the FERPA Act, FTC Act, and the HIPPA Act.
Notifications should be customizable in such a way as to be able to prompt recipients for an acknowledgement of receipt of the alert, as necessary. FirstCall’s Interactivity allows you to gather information from message recipients during the activation. A standard interactive message will wait for a single-digit or two-digit response from the message recipient and print the response next to the recipient’s phone number and address in the report. More complicated interactive messages can be set up to gather up to five individual two-digit responses from the message recipient or to have them choose the language in which they would like to hear the message.
FirstCall allows the phone number that appears on Caller ID to be customized on every call out. The text that appears on the Caller ID will appear however that number is listed within the phone company database. Customizing that text can be done by contacting the phone company.
