Matt graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in information systems, and decision sciences. He joined FirstCall in 1998 as an entry-level operator on a part time basis. As the need for a web-based graphical interface emerged, his computer programming skills became increasingly apparent and was promoted to Director of Operations. His first task was to design and create an easy to use but sophisticated customer software portal that is still seen as the industry standard. Matt has since been responsible for a long list of innovations to the industry, such as Call Sensing technology, Conference Push and the Team Builder. Due to his forward thinking skills and business acumen, he has created a company culture that promotes innovation built on sound business principals that allows FirstCall to remain the most advanced notification system available.
